I need to ask someone knowledgeable of Choctaw records before they left Mississippi for Oklahoma. My folks chose not to follow the "Trail of Tears" and left Mississippi for Louisiana and Texas. Will I be able to find them as Choctaw Indians in Mississippi? RSVP, please.
